"Aegean Thesaurus Travel & Tourism" was established in 1987, it was then, and still is, the only comprehensive Greek travel agent to operate on the island of Sifnos.
Since 1987 the agency has experienced a steady growth in operations, which we feel can be attributed to three key factors, firstly our experience in the tourism industry, which started well before 1987, secondly, to the professional and approachable way we conduct our business and finally, the quality of the services we provide.
The initial objective was to always provide services of the highest professional standards, giving clients the opportunity to discover the subtle beauty of Sifnos. It was not long before these same standards enabled us to offer memorable holidays throughout the Cycladic Islands. Today the only thing that has changed is that our success and reputation means we can take you to every corner of Greece in a way other agencies aspire to.
Our operations have been fully computerized for some years and include integrated links with hotel reservation systems, Greek ferry companies for the issuing of ferryboat tickets and major airline companies for the issue of International and Domestic flight tickets. We are therefore able to arrange every aspect of your vacation, not just your accommodation needs but car rental, transfers, and excursions either overland to the numerous archeological sights Greece has to offer or over sea with a variety of cruise options or yacht charter.
Five years ago, Aegean Thesaurus entered the Internet market in a small way. Although this was a new medium for us, we adopted the same principles of high standards and professionalism. The growth in this area sees the launch in May 2002 of this, our new web site, a site that we hope you will enjoy browsing again and again as we continue to expand and explore different avenues for revealing, exciting, relaxing or just plain old romantic vacations.
