DAY 1:
Your guided tour of Meteora begins with you being picked up
from your hotel in the morning, you will leave for Delphi, driving
through the region of Veotia and the picturesque village of Arachova
built on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. After spending an hour and a
half at your own leisure in Delphi, “the Navel of the Earth”, you
will continue to Kalambaka driving through the city of Lamia, and
passing by numerous picturesque villages and small towns of Central
Greece.
Arriving in Kalambaka where you will have dinner and stay
overnight.

DAY 2:
After breakfast your Meteora sightseeing tour continues with
your departure from Kalambaka, you will then make your way to
visit the well-known Meteora with its Byzantine Monasteries
constructed on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in
mid-air. In the afternoon you will leave Metora and begin your
return to Athens journeying via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae
(visit the Leonida Monument), and Kammena Vourla.
Arriving back in Athens in the evening at approximately 6pm.
NOTE: GUIDED VISITS TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE
AND THE MUSEUM IN DELPHI ARE NOT INCLUDED.
