6-DAYS IN LESVOS: MYTILENE –VATERA –PLOMARI -ERESOS - MOLYVOS
•1st DAY: Arrival to beautiful Mytilene port or airport, then depart to the Hotel by taxi or hired car.
Accommodation for one night with breakfast. While staying in Mytilene there are very interesting places to visit such as the Museums, the castle, the picturesque graphic and inexpensive market and enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes along the quay. Nearby escapes are Panagiouda Village (4Km), Thermi Village (6Km) and the traditional villages in the area of Gera (20 Km) (Pappados, Palaiokipos, Skopelos, Evriaki and Perama).
A good choice is to visit the Natural spring waters in the area of Therma (10 Km). The Spring Waters have many curative characteristics and you can also enjoy the professional massage facilities.
•2nd DAY: On the second day after breakfast, depart for the green, south part of the island, the most beautiful beach, Vatera. After an hour of driving (50-55km), arrival to the Hotel.
Accommodation for 1 night with breakfast in a room with Sea- view of the Aegean Sea!
While staying in Vatera visit the nearby charming traditional village of Vrissa (3 km) and the Natural Historical Museum where you can see fossils thousands of years, old of fish, Elephants, Turtles and many other animal and plants. You can also visit the picturesque graphic fishing cape of Saint Fokas
(5 km), Skala Polichnitos (15 Km), Nifida (17 Km) and the Natural Spring Waters in Polichnitos (8Km).
Also visit the traditional, green, mountain village of Agiasos (27 Km) which is very famous for its hand made earthenware and woodcuttings.
•3rd DAY: On the third day after your breakfast, depart for Agiasos (27 Km), a traditional and very green, mountain village which is very famous for its hand made earthenware and woodcuttings. There you can enjoy a traditional Greek coffee and home made sweet. After depart to Plomari (30 Km) driving through a green and beautiful countryside. Plomari is famous for its ouzo and for the beach of Agios Isidoros. Arrival to your Hotel. While staying in Plomari explore this traditional village or swim in the blue waters at the beach of Agios Isidoros. An interesting place to visit is the Varvagianni’s Ouzo Museum – Distillery.
•4th DAY: On the forth day after breakfast, depart to the North-west part of Lesvos Island. Drive through Kalloni, Parakoila and Agra, and after two and a half hours of driving arrival to the beautiful area of Skala Eressos (approximately 95 Km). While staying here it would be well worth your time to visit the international and world wide known Petrified Forest and Sigri’s Natural Historical Museum. You can also visit Sigri village and later you can take a swim, in the blue sea at Skala Eresos beach. There are many cafes and bars at Skala Eressos for lesbians, as the Lesbian poetress Sapho, was born in this village.
•5th DAY: On the fifth day, after a filling breakfast, depart to the North part of the island. After one and half hours of driving arrival to the beautiful and picturesque town of Molivos. There will be an overnight to the Hotel (breakfast including). While staying in Molivos visit the castle and walk through the traditional, picturesque cobble streets of the town. Also visit Petra village (3Km) and Anaxos. Another option is to visit Skala Sikamineas, a small, graphic fishing village with traditional fish – taverns for those who love eating fresh fish.
•6th DAY: On the sixth day of our vacation in Molivos and after a filling breakfast, depart for the port or the airport in Mytilene, to depart for your destination!!!
