Just a short note to let anyone who happens to be in Athens this Friday that the Foibos Cafe-Bar in Kypseli is having an opening party. Its a great reason to come down and explore Fokionos Negri one of the best areas of Athens, a pedestrian avenue lined with cafes and restaurants in a neighborhood few tourists ever visit. The party starts at 10pm on Friday Dec 5th and Foibos is at #19 Fokionos Negri. To get there you can take the 2 or the 4 trolley and get off at Platia Kypseli and walk down on the right side. Or take the 3, 5, 11, 14 or 13 down Patission street and past the archaeological museum and Alexandras Ave and get off Kefalonias and walk 2 blocks more to Ag Melatiou and turn right and then turn left on Drossopoulou and when you get to Fokionos Negri walk up on the left. See you there. Bring your friends too. |
