4/17/2008 North Carolina, USA Supporters of U.S. Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama around the planet are taking part in “One World, One Voice” events on April 19, 2008. Our purpose is to show that our candidate stands for America as a land of enlightened values and inspirational leadership. Obama for President - Greece invites U.S. voters in Greece and their families and friends to join our own Obama rally in Athens this Saturday, April 19th, at 2 pm. We will meet near Syntagma Square at the In Town Café, Mitropoleos 26-28 (at Voulis St., opposite the old Ministry of Education building), a short walk down from the Syntagma Metro Station. After a town-hall discussion led by Yvette Jarvis, we will walk toward Pnyx Hill opposite the Acropolis, where the ancient Athenian democracy assembled. Our photographs will help send a message back to U.S. primary voters and delegates that the world is watching them. Please come and spread the word!
