Dear All, After 57 years in circulation the Greece's English-language weekly newspaper Athens News is now facing the chop. Its proprietors, the Lambrakis Press, have said the paper could close as early as this week.

The editor is attempting to find a buyer but he has also appealed to the public to lend its support.
