The charter runs a round-trip from Athens to Napflion on the eastern coast of the Peleponnesus which is the southern mainland of Greece. Nafplio was the first capital of Greece and its port is a classic example of ninteenth century architecture, with fish taverns and medieval fortresses. The first week the cruise will work
it's way down to Napflion and the second week it will turn around and start the journey back up stopping in ports it missed on the way down (if the passengers are the same).
The group of islands between Athens and Napflion are known as the Saronic Islands. You may have heard of some of them: Aegina, Poros, Hydra, Spetses (where John Fowles'The Magus took place). The Saronic islands are very close to the mainland so it offers sheltered sailing but more importantly it opens up the whole eastern coast of the
northern Peleponnesus as stopping points. Beaches, small villages and breathtaking scenery will all become accessible as you sail up and down the coast.
For those who only want to go one-way they have also set up an agreement with Swift Car Rentals for one-way auto rentals from Athens to Nafplion or from Nafplion to Athens. We only charge 65 Euro(low season) or 85 Euro(high season, July 15th-September 15th) for the delivery/collection from Nafplion plus the rental, according to how many days you want to keep the car.
