Skiathos is one of the most gorgeous and artistic of the Sporades islands in central Greece. Its beaches have
been rated the 7th best, not only in Greece, but in the entire world. Stunning vistas and panoramic views of the
sea and mountains offer the ultimate inspiration for both aspiring and seasoned writers.
IMAGINATION BASED POETRY Course will be led by Poet Laureate George Wallace of New York. An award winning poet,
journalist, museum curator and publisher of Poetrybay magazine, Wallace has had several poetry books published
and translated into many languages. His latest 'Burn My Heart in Wet Sand', Sept. 04 and 'Swimming Through Water,
03, were published in the UK. Imagination Based Poetry, whether it is magical realism, surrealism, dada or fictive
writing, permits the writer to escape ego-based writing and reach to deeper truths about our nature and our experience.
