Matt's Custom Greek Island Itineraries:
Sifnos-Lesvos

This is the trip that combines my two favorite islands in Greece. The island of Sifnos in the Cyclades and Lesvos in the Northern Aegean are completely different and still authentically Greek. Both islands are famous for their cooking, hospitality and beaches. In fact this itinerary has you staying at two of the best beaches in Greece, Plati Yialos in Sifnos and Vatera in Lesvos.

Day 1. Arrive in Athens and be met at the airport by George the Famous Taxi Driver who whisks you off to the very nice and historic Cecil Hotel
Day 2. Catch the morning boat to Sifnosand stay at the beautiful Alexandros Hotel.
Day 3-5. Enjoy the beauty of Sifnos, swim, eat, drink relax and make friends.
Day 6. Take the high-speed boat to Pireaus where George picks you up and takes you to the airport for your flight to the town of Mytilini on the island of Lesvos. (In same cases where the schedules allow you can take the overnight ferry to Lesvos instead of flying). When you get to Lesvos our car rental company will be waiting for you to give you "your" car so you can drive off to the family run Hotel Aphrodite on beautiful Vatera Beach, perhaps the longest and most beautiful beach in the Aegean.
Day 7-10 Swim, see the archaeological sites and villages, eat and enjoy one of the largest and most interesting islands in Greece. You car rental will be very useful to you to explore all of this and more of the large and beautiful island.
Day 11. You drop off your car at the port or airport. You can choose to take the overnight ferry or else fly back in Athens where you are picked at the airport up by your old pal George the Famous Taxi Driver who first takes on a private tour of Athens, see the Acropolis, enjoy the sights, and then he takes to your hotel. In the evening walk around the city and that night you go out for dinner in the beautiful area known as the Plaka.
Day 12. Tour of Delphi or the Argolis with George.
Day 13. George picks you up and takes you to the airport for your flight home.
