Canaves Traditional Houses are two groups of traditional houses situated in Oia, a unique
and picturesque village on the northern tip of the island of Santorini (Thira).
Canaves means wineries, and the original building (Canaves I) was built 12 years
ago on the foundations of one such winery. The Canaves II was built only 4 years
ago, about 100m from the original, following the same traditional
architecture. Each house has a private terrace overlooking the Caldera.
Built into the rock it accommodates 2-6 persons. Every house is air-conditioned
and beautifully decorated with traditional antique furniture and ceramic
handicrafts. It has a living area, one or two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen
