It is accessible by pedestrian footpath or scooter only as there are no roads for cars in the old villages. Glaros House is an independent exquisite house built in 2005 in a traditional style. Located directly on the waterfront of Platy Yialos beach. The veranda of the house is directly on the beach. The marvelous quality of this house in conjunction with its location make it an ideal vacation home. The décor  and furniture are superb with built-in living room furniture, very tasteful and comfortable. Tazartes Houses is a traditional Sifnian house built in the 1920’s, and it is comprised of 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a large living room (with a sofa bed). There is also a terrace with grapevine covered pergola. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, (one with a double bed and the other with 2 bunk beds) a living room (with a sofa bed)  and large a veranda with panoramic view of all the villages and the sea in the distance.  The house is also equipped with its own washing machine.
