Tazartes House in Sifnos
Tazartes Houses is consisted of two separate housing facilities detached from, and next to, each other. They are located in the very traditional and tranquil neighborhood of Katavati (suburb of Apollonia-main town) 500 meters from the central square of Apollonia, through the flagstone footpaths. It is accessible by pedestrian footpath or scooter only as there are no roads for cars in the old villages. The nearest car road is 300 m. away.
The Apartment has been traditionally built in 2009 and it consists of one bedroom with a built-in double bed, a living room with a sofa, convertible to a double bed. It has an equipped kitchenette and a small exterior courtyard, with village view. This courtyard is not private as it is open to a small village footpath.
The House is a traditional Sifnian house built in the 1920’s, and it is comprised of 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a large living room (with a sofa bed). There is also a terrace with grapevine covered pergola. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, (one with a double bed and the other with 2 bunk beds) a living room (with a sofa bed) and large a veranda with panoramic view of all the villages and the sea in the distance. The house is also equipped with its own washing machine. Bus stop, restaurants and shops are all within 300 meters.
The apartment and the house can also be booked as a single larger unit since these two are next to each other, and guests will be able to use and enjoy the facilities of both. You can click on the above photos
