In the town of Chania, the Palazzo di Pietro Hotel has proven to be one of the better "traditional style" hotels with its main building materials being hewn stone and wood. The building dates back to approximately the year 1200, a period when the Venetians occupied Crete, It was built and resided in by the aristocratic family "Renier" of which today's owners are descendants.

The Palazzo di Pietro is located in the picturesque alleyways of the Old Town of Chania, close to the grand Metropolis church. The carefully selected interior decoration harmoniously completes the traditional identity of the hotel, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Palazzo di Pietro consists of 7 Suites and apartments of which 3 have their own balcony. All Suites and apartments have modern conveniences: bathroom with bathtub, air conditioning, satellite television, music, kitchenette, refrigerator, telephone and safety deposit box. The Palazzo di Pietro also has a specific apartment suitable for mobility impaired guests.

The specially created roof garden on the terrace of the building offers guests an opportunity to relish the view of the Old Town of Chania with it’s Venetian lighthouse and minaret, and the endless blue of the Cretan Sea.
