Reservations and payment

Our prices are listed in US dollars. Payment in Canadian or US dollars is accepted. Prices are based on double occupancy; travelers wanting private rooms throughout a trip will be charged a single supplement (for the exact amount, see the specific Destination).

To reserve your trip with Experience Greece, we require a deposit of $500 to secure your place. The balance of payment is due 90 days prior to departure.

Cancellations

We strongly recommend cancellation insurance. Should you wish to cancel your trip, we must be notified in writing and the following refunds apply:

More than 90 days before departure, we will refund 50% of your deposit.
Between 60 and 90 days before departure, we will not refund your deposit.
Between 30 and 60 days before departure, we will refund 50% of the trip cost.
Less than 30 days before departure, we will make no refund.

Should you wish to switch trips, you may do so free of charge up until 90 days before departure. After that, no trip changes may be made without incurring cancellation charges. We may ask a traveler to switch trips if the one booked has too few participants. We reserve the right to cancel a trip prior to departure in extenuating circumstances. Should this happen, a full refund of payments we have received shall constitute full settlement. We reserve the right to adjust a trip itinerary should circumstances arise which require it.

Health

Participants are expected to be in good health and adequate physical condition to undertake the trip. Walks have been selected and designed to be manageable and accessible, and fit in with our relaxed approach to holidays, but travelers should be aware that we are often far from medical facilities, and standards of medical care may differ from travelers' own. Putting a deposit on a trip confirms awareness and acceptance of the risk which may be involved in traveling off the beaten track.

Other preparation

Confirmed guests receive an information package advising travelers how to prepare for their trip, including packing advice, reading suggestions, information about the customs and culture in Greece, and so on. Travelers are responsible for reading Experience Greece's pre-trip materials and preparing adequately for their trip.

Accommodation

All prices are based on double occupancy, and all rooms have private facilities. Experience Greece selects the highest standard accommodation on all trips, sometimes in traditional, historic inns and 5-star hotels where possible. Please note that standards of accommodation abroad may differ from North American standards.
