The villa is set spectacularly on the northeast
side of the Pelion peninsula on the mainland in
central
Greece
, offering a breath taking panoramic view of
the
Aegean Sea
with the
Sporadic
Islands
, Halkidiki and the Holy Mountain of Athos. It is
a 10 minutes walk to Zagora, one of the biggest
villages on the peninsula.
It is
built 400 m over a green plateau on the
mountainside by the well known Greek architect
Fivos Economides. It has a large terrace, a large
garden at the back and a small amphitheatre. The
mountainside is covered with chestnut trees and
birch trees, is green all year around. The village
has all facilities like bank, post, public health
clinic, shops, restaurants etc without being a
touristy area. There is a functioning ski centre
with lifts at the top of the
mountain.
