Where to Stay in Athens

If you have an early ferry to catch it can be advisable to stay nearer Piraeus port, which is 20 minute metro ride for the city centre or a 30 drive depending on traffic.

With a few days to spend in Athens, the areas of Glyfada and Vouliagmeni on Athens coast is a popular alternative to staying in Athens or Piraeus especially since the airport has been relocated and you no longer have planes flying low overhead every 10 minutes! [Athens coast Hotels ].
